ORIGINS: THE SEX MAGE
REALM
The beings known as the
Fae
rely on the dreams of sapient minds, be they human or otherwise, to give
themselves identity and form. Civilizations across the galaxy have had sporadic
contact with the
Fae Realm, even if
they do not realize it.
Eventually, certain exceptional Fae discovered a way to
maintain their sense of self even when they returned the formless reality that
is their home. By transforming a piece of their world into a simulated
existence, focused on a specific theme, these
Fae Lords can create a sort of "life support" system for
themselves, ensuring that they can continue existing in their current form for
subjective centuries or millennia.
Although other lesser Fae may enter the realm and fill in
some of its details, Fae Lords depend on the innate existential stability of
beings from our Material Universe to anchor their pocket realities into place.
To this end, the Fae have stolen millions of sapient beings from across the
universe, and insinuated them into the paradigm of their realities. Such beings
have their memories erased or rewritten, and sometimes even their forms
altered, to better fit within the world. In some cases, the timeline of these
worlds continues linearly, while in others, specific events or sequences may
continuously repeat in a time loop. Still others may reboot their reality every
few years, still fitting the theme, but readjusting to suit the Lord's changing
tastes.
Earth is one such world of particular interest to the Fae,
being the inspiration for the creation of thousands of separate Fae Lord
Realms. Many of the unexplained disappearances throughout human history, from
supposed supernatural events to alien abductions, are in fact the Fae Lords
stealing humans away.
One particular Realm of note is the
Sex Mage Realm created by the
Fae
Lord Dellissa. In this reality, which resembles a large island nation from
modern day Earth, women are given the power of Sex Magic. The majority of
humans within the Realm are men from Earth, placed in sexual situations which
cater their femdom fetishes, albeit to a supernaturally overwhelming degree.
Some of the humans are women with similar fetishes, who are given the ultimate
power of sexual femdom magic.
It is from this Realm that
Sex Magic originates. An impact event with a monstrous entity
spawned from the
Dark God Temael
risked a catastrophic collapse of Dellissa’s reality. Hundreds of humans were
awakened from the dream of her Realm, and ejected from it, to be scattered
across various timelines of Earth.
In each world a human woman returned to, Sex Magic
manifested, sometimes as it was originally designed, sometimes altered as it
crossed the veils between dimensions. Numerous versions of Earth have become
completely upended by this incredible sexual power, and the craziest part is
that Dellissa isn't even aware of it. She's already repaired her reality from
the event, and is still having fun with all the denizens still there. It may be
centuries, at least, before she checks on the worlds of the Material Universe
again.
When she does, how will she react when she discovers that
her power has spread? And how much more powerful will she become, when she
reconnects to the countless worlds that now operate under, and conceptually
anchor, her existential paradigm?

TERROR ZONES: THE
CURSE OF TEMAEL
An infection has spread across the
Sex Mage Multiverse. The same cosmic accident that brought Sex
Magic to numerous realities carried with it the seed of a far darker power.
Terror Zones are
the manifestation of the magic of
Temael,
a
Dark God that covets the worlds of
our universe. When Its power manifests in the hidden corners of a world, it
begins to warp the area into a twisted nightmare version of itself.
The land is cast in supernatural darkness. An unrelenting
feeling of absolute dread claws at the minds of all within. The dead walk as
living skeletons, bones glowing with radioactivity, or cloaked in lethal
chemical clouds. Animals mutate into hideous, bloodthirsty chimera. Plants and
fungi become vicious, mobile carnivores. Machines come alive and reshape into
deadly mechanical monsters. The land itself sprouts toxic incarnations of
elemental creatures. The very shadows themselves seem to claw at the living and
attempt to suck out their life force.
Sex Magic is nearly useless inside a Terror Zone. Lust
Energy is almost completely neutralized, and Sex Mage Spells are reduced to a
fraction of their effectiveness even when some energy does manage to be
absorbed. The healing and sanity protecting effects of the Magic are completely
removed.
Terror Zones, for the most part, can be stopped one of three
ways: either by finding and destroying the core of the manifestation somewhere
in the Zone's center, by eliminating several key creatures of great power
roaming within, or by using some means to drain the Dark Magic until the Zone
can no longer support itself.
Sometimes, a Terror Zone may simply dissipate on its own, as
it burns through it's own energy over time, or the world itself exerts enough
existential pressure to snuff it out. This is not reliable, however, as there
is no telling how long a manifestation can last. Depending on what occurs
within, it may find a means to sustain itself indefinitely.
Some worlds have an easier time of it, combating the Zones
directly with high technology, alternative magics, superhuman powers, or divine
intervention. Others are not so lucky, and must treat the Zones as natural
disasters to be escaped and avoided until they go away, if they ever do. In
some worlds, special teams of powerful Sex Mage soldiers and Radiants, armed to
the teeth with mundane weaponry, are sent in to brave the horrors and try to
shut down the Zones from within.
No one knows how long this struggle will last. Even if Sex
Magic were to be eliminated from the Multiverse, the Terror Zones would
continue to persist. Ironically, for some worlds, the very Sex Magic that
brought this dark curse with it may be the only thing keeping it in check.

PANDORAS: A LETHAL LEGACY
Pandoras are the
result of mankind's attempts to better understand the nature of Sex Magic
through scientific research and technological testing, often with disastrous
results.
In many realities of the Sex Mage Multiverse, the Pandora Research Facility is created to
attempt to discover the limits of Sex Magic's potential. Frustratingly, there
doesn't appear to be much one can actually do with the power beyond its
apparent function as a female dominant sexual control mechanism. There are
certainly many beneficial uses for its many side effects, but actually
distilling such mechanisms and applying them to other processes seems impossible.
About the only thing Sex Magic seems able to do beyond its
normal functions is the advancement of human cloning. Unfortunately, clones
created with the Magic tend to have strange quirks about them. For one, all
female clones awaken with a vicious domination streak, as if acting on some
primal instinct instilled by the Magic itself. Whether possessing a general
disdain for people or a targeted aggression against
specific persons,
they seem intent on unleashing the Magic on their victims to as devastating a
degree as possible. Likewise, all male clones awaken with an automatic
submissive streak towards women, but an aggressive disdain for the men they
were cloned from, and a general indifference to other men. It takes weeks, if
not months, of mental conditioning to make such clones empathize with other
humans.
For another, females awaken with Sex Mage powers already
active, and their power effects can vary wildly, creating strangely powerful
Glitches. Many demonstrate Archmage level powers under specific conditions,
even if their abilities are otherwise limited. Males, by contrast, are often
capable of generating enormous amounts of Lust Energy, on par with a Radiant,
and such levels of energy can prove overwhelming for most Sex Mages to be
exposed to. These radical power variations make controlling and containing them
until they can be conditioned all the more difficult.
Then, there are the Abominations,
cloning attempts that went completely awry, creating twisted body horror
mutants and fantastical demihumans with bestial minds, intent on consuming the
Lust Energy of humans at the cost of their victim's lives.
In some realities, the creation of these Pandoras lead to
terrible disasters. The monsters break free and run rampant over nearby towns
and cities, savagely abusing the population, if not outright killing them.
Specially trained soldiers and anti-Terror Zone units are sent in to eradicate
these outbreaks, and very quickly, the Pandora Facility is shut down, and
further experimentation is forbidden.
Those realities are the lucky ones. In some versions of the
Sex Mage World, the culmination of Pandora Research results in the Created, a single female clone of
utterly immense power. Able to survive only by constantly consuming Lust
Energy, she triggers what is known as the Cascade
Event, a spreading storm of uncontrollable Sex Magic that sends all who are
touched by it into a coma of hyper-stimulation that exceeds mortal tolerance.
Even in the worlds where she is eventually stopped, the global population is
cut down by as much as half. The one upside to the Cascade is that it also
creates the Megami, who by and large
will protect the surviving populations by forming the Queendoms.
Despite this, sometimes Pandoras can still appear out of
nowhere. Some theorize that other facilities may have been created, or some
escapees formed their own hidden settlements in the wilderness, but subsequent
searches turn up nothing. The prevailing theory is that, just as in the legend
of Pandora herself, once the box was opened, the danger has become an inherent
part of the world. Pandoras may now simply appear as random, feral manifestations
of the Sex Magic itself.
