Artistic progress remains a very slow, incredibly sporadic process for me. I just don't find it in me to draw very often, and every time I pick the pen back up, I feel like I forgot most of what I learned last time. But I feel like I am at least slightly on the path to figuring some stuff out.

I find drawing is a strange thing it is like learning to ride a bicycle once you know how it works you can't forget it but at the same time if you don't keep practicing you seem to lose some of the skills you picked up over time but what I see here is good so who knows maybe your skill will get better but if you think that this I a bad drawing you are wrong it's good👌

DeleteThe learning process really seems to come in fits and spurts, I guess. Go a long while not really getting how to do something, until suddenly, it clicks, and I can do it better the next time if I put the effort in. Which is not to say I can do it perfect every time from that point (I still make artistic "typos" all the time that digital lets me fix), but as you say, once you figure out a groove, it's easier to slot back into.
